It's early, very early. I am customizing the BlogCFC editor for a client... and ran across this little comment snippet in my blogCFC code.

Purpose: Makes it easier to add a Rich Text Editor, for you wimpy folks who can't write html by hand. I tell ya - in my day, we wrote our HTML by hand and we liked it gosh darnit. We didn't even have monitors. We had to write our HTML with punchcards. And our punchcards were made of tissue paper and would break if you didn't write it exactly right.

In my early morning, lack-of-enough-coffee haze, it is obvious that I now enter the ranks of "wimpy folks". At least my coffee isn't decaf, and I don't wear birkenstocks (usually).

Ever have one of these days? For some reason, while demo'ing a web conference, my Adobe Connect Now created a screen capture endless reflection of itself. Bizarro, but very cool.

In 2011, I resolve to:

• Keep crankin on CF9
• Use jQuery more
• Polish my ORM up more
• Wear my fuzzy slippers more
• Log more miles on my bicycle (2010 mileage was quite sad so this bar isn't very high)
• Go to CFUnited, Max2010, Max 2011, Somewhere fun to network w/ colleagues

For those gifts he delivers on Christmas Eve, some folks estimate that he has between 36-45 hours, considering time zones and International date lines sort of stuff. We know that he actually has Jean-Luc Picard's Maximum Warp engines on his sleigh and he can use if needed, a Time-turner (which he created) similar to the one Hermione Granger uses.

Also, Some places don't receive his gifts until January 6th, so he has time to get home, grab a glass of alka-seltzer, and pack a few extra carrots for the reindeer before heading off again.
