Converting Video DVD into Flash

I received a DVD with a video a client wanted to put into flash... Hmmm, since the DVD directory had the video and audio split into 2 directories (AUDIO_TS & VIDEO_TS). Flash doesn't want to play with all those files.

So I recoded the file using Nero's Recode DVD software into an mpeg4 file. Importing worked great for audio, but the video was missing. All I got was audio, no video. This appeared to be an issue problem with recoding files that have chapter/title markers. And I couldn't get the file recoded without those markers in Nero.

Using Uleads VideoStudio, I tried again, capturing the video from the DVD. This time I was able to skip over the chapter/title markers on the DVD. VideoStudio ripped the video as a regular .mpg file which Flash imported flawlessly.

Normally, Flash (I use CS3) will import a mpg4 file, but it needs to be a clean file without extra markers
